Helpful Hints for Using
    LearningWave Online
 
    

    LearningWave Online is designed so that students can 
work
    through the lessons and interactive problems themselves.

Here
    are some general guidelines for operating within the site:

    

      
-Click on the
      links below to go to the selected help page. 
REMEMBER:
when you are in the site and you need help with a problem, return to the
chapter index page, then click on "Need Help?" to get to this page.

-There are NO units in
      answers unless specifically asked for within a given problem.

-There are NO commas
      in answers.

-When a correct answer
      is entered, you may receive a 'correct' screen OR you may be
      taken directly to the next step in the interactive story. 

-Zero MAY be required as a place holder
      to the left of a decimal sign.

-The problems addressed in the help section are
      the interactive ones only, not the problems in the lessons.
-When inputting a mixed number, be sure to leave a space between the whole number and the fraction.

-Be sure to watch for
      HINTS for various problems throughout the site.
