THE SUNKEN NAUTILUS
The Plane Trip: Multiply the amount of fuel in a full tank by 2, to determine the total amount of fuel needed. Then, add the amount in tank #1 and tank #2 together. Use this sum to subtract from the total amount needed, to find how much more is needed to fill the tanks.
Engines Quit: 2345.78 - 1756.009 = x, the distance you are looking for.
Aboard the Ship: To solve for b, use the formula, 14.21 - 3.21 = b. Remember! Your answer must be in decimal form!
The Charter Boat: Subtract Betty's expenses (in red) from her income (in blue).
The Boat Ride to the Wreck: To get the correct answer, subtract double the
distance to the island from the round-trip distance. Then, divide the answer you get by 2.
The Dive: Add the two amounts of line used (in red) and subtract from the total amount of air line (in blue).
The Sunken Wreck: 56.83 - 31.6 = x
Inside the Wreck: Subtract the code numbers from 111.11. Put you answer in decimal form!
Save Dela!: You must try adding different combinations of weights until you find a combination that is between 46 & 48 lbs. (Try using your estimating skills.)
The Battle of Wits: Add or subtract the 'realities' from 23.23 by following the instructions. Remember, LEFT means to subtract, RIGHT means to add.
Orange Warriors: Be sure to line up your decimal points!

SECRET OF THE MOUND BUILDERS
The Adena Site: Divide .245 by 5.
The Hopewell Site: Divide the perimeter by the scale.
The Mississippian Site: amount of earth divided by years, divided by basket load.

MIDNIGHT AT THE SUPER BIG:
1- I want a refund!: Divide price by 15, then multiply your answer by 3 to obtain the refund price.
2 - Fang & Her Onions: Divide cost of onions by 5 to get the price of a single onion, then multiply this cost by 3 to get the cost of 3 onions only.
3 - Fang & Her Hot Peppers: Divide the cost of hot peppers by 6 to find the cost of an individual hot pepper. Multiply this amount by 14 to get the total cost. OR, multiply the cost of 6 peppers by 2 (2 x 2.99) to get the cost of 12. Then add the cost of an individual hot pepper twice to the cost of 12, to total the cost of 14.
4 - The Society of the Unexplained: First, determine the individual price of each item (divide the price by the unit number). Next, multiply the individual price/item by the number that the society wants. Lastly, add the prices of their items together for their total bill.
5 - Antacids: Divide $1.46 by 24, then multiply your answer by the number of antacids that Mr. Savage used to find the amount he will pay.
6 - Eggs: Find the cost of an individual egg and multiply by the amount of eggs that the clown wants to smash.
7 - Cheese: Find the cost of a pound of cheese by dividing the cost by 5. Multiply the cost of a single pound of cheese by the amount the rats want to buy.
8 - Lazlo and his Pork Rinds: Find the cost of an ounce of pork rinds, then multiply by 11 to find the cost of the missing portion. Subtract this amount from the price of a full bag to see what Lazlo will pay for the pork rinds he will eat.
9 - Whoop Dadios: Find the cost of an ounce of pop and an ounce of nachos and multiply by the amount that the Dadios will eat. Don't forget to add the 2 prices together when you input your answer!
ENDING BALANCE: Combine your answers to balance the books at the Super Big!
