FRACTION PRACTICE PROBLEMS:
Count the Groans: There are 64 groans in the room so first we will find 1/2 of 64. Next find 5/8 of your previous answer to find the number of pink-eyed, purple-haired groans.
Gone Bananas: Multiply 2/3 times 9 to find out how many bananas Baby wants to eat. Subtract this number from 9. How many does Baby need to add to make 4 for the Silverback?
Save Javaville: Reduce 49/5 to see if they have enough hose and if so, how much is left over. Thirds: Multiply 3 x 3, then add 1/3 to get the total number of thirds.
Maggie's Farm: Convert each mixed number to an improper fraction. Find the least common multiple (LCM) so you can add and subract the fractions. Be sure to keep track of the sales so you can calculate the profit.
A Wrenching Problem: Convert each fraction to a least common multiple of 16, then compare the wrenches.
Find 1/3 of 20: Multiply 20 times 1, then divided by 3.

 EL MIRO:
Cartoons: Find the Least Common Multiple, convert the fractions, then add them together to find the total time for the cartoons. Don't forget to reduce!
Mama's Performance: convert the fractions to the Least Common Multiple. Subtract the show times from the total performance time. The difference is Mama's performance time.
Daily Performances: Divide the hours the Turmoil Room is open by the performance time of a show. Convert the fractions as needed. Don't forget ~ only entire performances are scheduled.

DELA CROIX, THE BLACK QUEEN:
BLUE CARD: Divide 14 by 1/3 (or, 14/3).
TULIP CARD: 3/4 of 34 = 3 x 34 divided by 4 = x
BEIGE CARD: 3/8 of 64 = 64 divided by 8 x 3 = x
GREEN CARD: 3/4 of 6 = 3 x 6 divided by 4 = x (OR, use cross reduction.)
TOTAL = Find the Least Common Multiple and multiply your previous answers together.

MATH CREEPIES:
Phyllis the Couch: Find 2/3 of 2070, then find 1/2 of that number. (OR, find 1/3 of 2070)

THE GOLDEN ONE:
Horus Hughes: The shortest route is 1/2 + 1 1/4. Convert to the Least Common Multiple and perform the addition.
Diamond Dan Trump: 1 1/4 + 1/4 = x
The First Password: 1/4 + 1/2 = x
Meet Shah Jihan: 3/8 + 1 3/4 + 2 5/8 = x
The Second Password: 5/8 + 3/8 + 1/4 = x
Final Password: 2 5/8 - 1 3/4 = x
The Golden ONE: 3/4 x 2 5/8 = x, convert 2 5/8 to an improper fraction and multiply. Don't forget to reduce!
BIOS Shut Off Switch: Add up the passwords and divide.
