Lord Newman, a galactic villain with a self-image problem, and his Robo Ape Army have brought their ship into orbit around the peaceful planet of Thalo. They are now prepared to bombard the planet with deadly styro-foam.

The Bluestick people, the inhabitants of the planet, have the unique ability to replicate any material. If the Bluesticks encounter the styro-foam, they will pollute their entire planet and destroy themselves.

Astro Girl and her team have been sent by Space Command to stop Lord Newman and bring an end to the styro-foam menace.
