Researchers at the Uckie Clinic have just announced that there is a new and deadly fungus in the world. The fungus grows on the walls and floors of old ancient underground places. It requires a warm moist environment to grow. If the fungus gets into human lungs, it will multiply and make the infected person sick. If the fungus goes untreated, it could be serious for the infected persons.

The spores of the fungus reproduce once every day. The amount doubles each day.

A human will become ill if they have more than 12,000 fungus spores in them. How many days would it take for this to happen if a person was infected by just one spore?
